Arrochar
Easy Trails
These are
short, medium and long walks on easy paths and
trails. Such as a walk from Rest & Be Thankful
on forest tracks to Arrochar or walking from
Arrochar to Ardgarten, check out the visitor
centre and select one of the many trails through
picturesque highland woodland.
Note: the
easy trails do have some inclines!

 Arrochar
Hills
There are a number of hill walks in the
area that provide half and full days excursions. Most popular is The
Cobbler with it’s jagged peaks is a beacon for walkers. Our base is
right next to the path leading to The Cobbler and other hills. There are
7 Cobett’s within the immediate area some of which are accessible from
our house.
Corbett – A hill between 2500 and 2999
feet. (762 – 914 m) In this area:
The Cobbler (Ben Arthur), Beinn Bheula,
Ben Donich, The Brack, Beinn Luibhean, Beinn an Lochain, Binnein an
Fhidhleir. Plus other hills such as A’ Chrois, Ben Reoch & Cnoc Coinnich
to name just a few.

Arrochar
Mountains
There are 4
Munro’s (mountains over 3000 ft (914m) in the
immediate area with 1 across Loch Lomond which
makes a memorable day out by taking the ferry to
start and finish the day.
Munro’s in the
area are:
Ben Narnain – 926m
Ben Ime -
1011m
Ben Vane – 915m
Ben Vorlich – 943m
And across Loch Lomond – Ben Lomond – 974m
