Which makes of car do you service?
We specialise in German cars BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi
and Volkswagen VW, Mini, Skoda and Seat. We have built up a good specialist knowledge over
many years - first acquired by working for franchised or main dealers so
we are happy to service any car regardless of manufacturer or age.
Will I lose my manufacturer warranty if you service my car?
No. We can use OEM original parts and oils
to ensure your warranty is not invalidated. We
will service your cars to manufacturers recommendations. We use the same
electronic diagnostic equipment as a main dealer. By law this means your
manufacturers warranty remains valid. We work to the same standards as a
franchised dealer but at a lower price. Many of our mechanics were
trained at main dealers and worked there for many years before joining
our team. If your warranty has run out we can supply cheaper, top
quality parts.
What about my car’s electronic management system and
variable service indicator?
We use the
same diagnostic equipment as a main dealer. We can reset your variable
service indicator.
What type of work do you do?
Regular
servicing, mechanical repairs, air conditioning, engine rebuilds, tyres,
clutches, brakes, bodyworks, but not welding.
Do you provide fixed price servicing?
We will
give you an estimate of the service and stick to that estimate. We will
contact you to authorise any additional work that may be required.
What hours are you open?
We are
open 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. We are not open Sunday.
Can you service automatics, diesels etc?
We service
diesels, automatics, four-wheel drive vehicles, high performance
variants etc.
Can you service my older car?
No problem
– because we are cheaper, we can maintain those cars where it is not
economic to have them maintained by a main dealer.
Do you provide a while you wait service?
Yes but it
is best to arrange this when you book your service.
Can you MOT my car?
Yes. We are full
accredited and trained to MOT any car or van. We do not need to use a
third party as many garages do which can increase the cost.
Will you stamp my service book?
Yes.
Will you explain the work you have done?
You deal
direct with the mechanics who work on your car. We will explain the work
that has been carried out and will answer any questions you have.
Can I source parts myself?
Of course, but contact us first to make sure you obtain the correct
parts. We can source parts from the manufacturer or cheaper
alternatives.
My car came with free servicing – can you help?
Possibly. Some free servicing packages only cover the basics and exclude
wear and tear items. Get the free servicing done by your supplying
dealer and ask us for an estimate for any work not covered.
