Accommodation

The accommodation consists of  two comfortable double rooms with en suite showers and lovely loch views; one with a large bathroom and the other with a small bathroom.  There is also a twin room with private bathroom ( with a bath / shower). All rooms have TV, Radio  and DVD players and Wi-Fi Internet is available.

Double en suite with Loch Views small shower room from £25 per person
Twin Room from £25 per person
 

Unfortunately we do not cater for children under10 years old.

Breakfast  Standard menu consists of;

  • Choice of cereals and or porridge, yoghurt, fruit juice or fresh fruit

  • Full cooked 'Scottish' with free range eggs or Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled eggs

  • All foods are locally supplied where possible

Packed lunches can be provided, on request, for walkers.

DinnerAshfield House Dining Room As a taster, we supply below a sample menu taken from our 2010 season: -

Cream of Cauliflower soup with white truffle oil (V)  or  Melon with Serrano Ham

Beef Medallions with wilted spinach, honey glazed carrots and lyonnaise potatoes  or mushroom Risotto with white wine and cream (V)

Flan Catalan  or  Iles Flottantes   or   a selection of cheeses and oatcakes 

Price per person for 2 Courses £12.50, 3 Courses £15.00 

Dinner reservations can be made with 24 hours notice for guests staying more than one night.
 

Village Facilities

For eating out the village offers several restaurants, cafes and pubs as well as take away fish and chips. As an alternative you can have Dinner at Ashfield House and then go down to the local pubs for a selection of fine ales or whiskies for the discerning palate.
