The two picturesque Scottish villages of Arrochar on Loch Long and Tarbet on Loch Lomond are situated in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The purpose of this web site is to help locals and visitors alike find whatever they are looking for; be it our recommended accommodation, local services, or groups and clubs. Arrochar is situated at the head of Loch Long whilst Tarbet is situated on Loch Lomond. Take a look at the breathtaking Arrochar Alps featuring one of Scotland's best loved mountains Ben Arthur, better known as 'The Cobbler'. There is a whole host of places to stay including Hotels, Bed And Breakfasts & Self Catering Cottages and Camp Sites. There are several local restaurants and places to eat and drink with live music. Further up the A82 you will find the village of Ardlui.

 

There are many fine golf courses, walks and climbs. Fishing is a popular pastime and boats can be hired at Arrochar. Loch Long is one of the most popular Scuba Diving locations in Scotland. Glasgow is a mere 45 minutes drive and Edinburgh about an hour and a half. The exquisite Glencoe is around an hour away. The local train station can offer several day trip visits.
