UPCOMING EVENTS
Saturday 4th July - Arrochar & Tarbet's Got Talent contest LIVE at the new Village Hall Sat 24th July 7pm - 9pm. All acts and ages welcome. Voting will be exclusively by the audience on the night. Pick up an application form from the Arrochar or Tarbet Post offices or The Village Hall. £2 per person to enter. And to watch it is £4 per adult and £2 for children and OAP's. The last Friday of every month The Village Inn have a music night where local musicians are invited to partake. The Arrochar Hotel have a special 'sizzling' menu available every Wednesday evening 6pm-8pm - 8oz Sirloin Steak or Port Loin Steak or Chicken Fillet, grilled to your liking with chips, mushrooms, tomato and onion rings served on a Sizzle Platter! REGULAR EVENTS
	There is a regular pub quiz held in Ben Arthur's Bothy on a Friday night - usually the first Friday of the month. Posters are put up around the village prior to each quiz and dates will be published on this web site on this very page. Quizes are general knowledge and purely for fun. Entry is free and Ben Arthur's Bothy kindly lay on half time snacks. The winning team go on to set the questions for the next quiz. PA speakers and CD player are available if required. Previous winners include 'The Greenwoods', 'Shagerlandy', 'The Smiths', 'The Arrochar Curlers' and the 'Cairndow Team'.

	Local band The Menu are a four piece live band. They also play regular gigs at both Ben Arthur's Bothy and The Village Inn. They are primarily a Function band specialising in weddings, corporate events and private functions but they like to play select local venues from time to time. they play a wide selection of music ranging from the 60's to present day including artists lie Abba, Cher, T-Rex, Kinks, Rolling Stones, Kaiser Chiefs, Wets, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Robbie Williams, Blues Brothers, Duffy, Amy Winehouse to name but a few. VENUES
	Ben Arthur's Bothy Originally 'The Moorings', then 'Callum's Bar' and now 'Ben Arthur's Bothy is a traditional local Scottish pub offering a range of beer, wine and food for lunches and dinner. There is a bar lounge featuring a pool table and dart board plus a separate dining room where functions are held. There is also a large TV where sporting events are shown. 	The Village Inn The Village Inn, formerly known as 'The Lynwood' is a traditional Scottish Pub, Restaurant and Hotel offering fine food and real ale originally built as The Manse and one of the oldest properties in Arrochar.
