Saturday 9th July 2011 - Arrochar's Got Talent 2011 at The Village Hall 7pm - 9.30pm   Entry forms are available form the post offices or Diana & Howard Page. Tickets will be on sale soon. arrive early to guarantee a seat as last years event was standing room only !

23rd July 2011 - The Menu - live band playing live at The Village Inn. Local 4 piece specialist wedding and function band are playing at The village Inn. Popular covers from 60's to present day. Free Entry - come along for some great music and dance.

The last Friday of every month The Village Inn have a music night where local musicians are invited to partake.

REGULAR EVENTS

Local band The Menu are a four piece live band. They also play regular gigs at both Ben
Arthur's Bothy and The Village Inn. They are primarily a Function band specialising in weddings,
corporate events and private functions but they like to play select local venues from time to
time. they play a wide selection of music ranging from the 60's to present day including
artists lie Abba, Cher, Adele, T-Rex, Kinks, Rolling Stones, Kaiser Chiefs, Duffy, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood
Mac, Robbie Williams, Blues Brothers, Duffy, Amy Winehouse to name but a few. Something
for everyone!

VENUES

There is a bar lounge featuring a pool table and dart board plus a separate dining room
where functions are held. There is also a large TV where sporting events are shown.
Local band HARD1 play here regularly.

The Village Inn, formerly known as 'The Lynwood' is a traditional Scottish Pub, Restaurant
and Hotel offering fine food and real ale originally built as The Manse and one of the
oldest properties in Arrochar. The Village Inn is run by Maclays and voted CAMRA pub
of the year in the past.

many rooms it features a large dining room ideal for functions and events. The Hotel
