Arrochar & Tarbet Community Development Trust have had approval from the SRDP (Scottish Rural Development Project) for £641,000 funding to go towards the proposed marine access pontoon pier and toilets/heritage centre. This represents about half the required amount for the project. The proposed outline sketches are shown below to give an insight into this next phase of the campus development plans. These plans involve knocking down the PitStop and erecting a new, purpose built 'Heritage & Amenities Centre' housing toilets, a visitor centre and a heritage centre.
