BMW 740i - first registered in September 1997. 2 owners from new. 137,400 miles - Oxford Green. All conceivable extras as standard plus Xenon self levelling headlights, parking distance control front and rear, Hi-Fi audio with 6 CD autochanger in boot, 5 speed steptronic automatic box, Alpina 18" alloy wheels with full size spare, detachable tow bar, on board computer, dynamic stability control with traction control and a built in car phone. It has fully electric front seats including height, thigh support, lumbar and even headrests. It also has an electric tilt slide glass sunroom. The windows and roof can be opened or shut from the remote key. The built in alarm even allows for a pin code to be used so even if they get your keys they can't take the car. Full service history - complete with all the received from delivery pre-inspection through all services and work done to the car. I also have two lots of touch up paint.

This car is both quicker and more economical than the standard model - I fitted an X5 4.4L engine in 2004 after the original engine seized. The new engine was fitted at 82,000 miles and is both lighter and more powerful at 320BHP. This makes the car even faster than standard with improved fuel economy. Using standard unleaded petrol I get about 22MPG urban cycle and 27MPG on a run. It's a delight to drive and has been my pride and job for the last 6 years. It is unbelievably fast and very, very smooth and quiet. Ideal for long journeys and great for towing using the removable tow bar that is stowed by the full size allow spare wheel in the boot.

Full service history using BMW garage - I have all the original documentation from the pre-delivery inspection with all service receipts, MOT's etc. Original service manual and handbook. All documentation is available and there is no finance on the car. It was originally registered in Northern Ireland. It is well looked after with only the usual stone chips and marks. The alloy wheels need attention as they are starting to flake. There are no problems with the car to the best of my knowledge and it has been sat on the drive for the last 2 months as I deliberated on selling it. MOT'd till 20th November 08 and recently serviced. It's worth over 2 grand of anyone's money and cost over 58 grand new!

Reason for sale is that I have just changed jobs and have got a company car (unfortunately a diesel!). I'll be very sad to see her go after driving over 80,000 miles in her!  I'm looking for £2,500 but I'm open to offers!
